Two HME Model 34D-Type III’s are heading to the San Miguel Consolidated Fire Protection District in Spring Valley, California.
The pumpers are built on an International 7400 commercial chassis with alloy steel frame rails and seating for six. They’re powered by MaxxForce 9 EPA 10, 330 HP diesel engines and equipped with Hale TBP PTO midship pumps.
The apparatus use exclusive HME Hydra technology with 750-gpm performance, FoamPro 1600 foam systems with a 20-gallon Class A foam tanks, 50-gallon polypropylene tanks, aluminum adjustable hosebed dividers, 20-foot three-section ladder groups, 12-gauge stainless steel bolted construction, adjustable aluminum shelving, two pump house hose lay beds each, 150-foot Hannay booster reels, back pack filler systems, portable Darley 1-1/2AGE 180-GPM diesel pumps, 500-gallon water tanks, hosbeds with top loading equipment compartments, and four SCBA tubes each.
